Situated in the unspoilt Lauragais countryside, some 20 kilometres from the old Cité of Carcassonne, the domaine consists of a large, welcoming maison de maitre and a separate cottage which are both nestled in the magnificent 20 acre park with its’ century old trees. A true haven of peace and tranquility.
You can wander around the park on the tree lined pathway – the more energetic may wish to jog – or you can enjoy the large 12mx6m swimming pool, a game of tennis on the full size court or maybe just a stroll in the grounds.
La Prade has 3 gites : the West Wing and the East Wing are in the wings of the main house with The Cottage a separate unit. All are fitted and furnished comfortably and to a high standard with each kitchen having a washing machine, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, hob & oven as well as a microwave.
Each gite has its’ own private entrance and a private terrace equipped with garden furniture, barbecue and dining table.
